- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and baking soda.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to a thickness of 1/8 inch. Cut out the dough using your favorite cookie cutters.
- Place the cookies on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
Peppermint Bark
This easy-to-make peppermint bark is the perfect treat for the holidays. It's made with just three ingredients and can be customized to your liking.
Ingredients:
- 1 pound semisweet chocolate
- 1 pound white chocolate
- 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies
Instructions:
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Melt the semisweet chocolate in a double boiler or in the microwave. Pour the melted chocolate onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it out into a thin layer.
- Melt the white chocolate in a double boiler or in the microwave. Pour the melted white chocolate over the semisweet chocolate and spread it out into a thin layer.
- Sprinkle the crushed peppermint candies over the white chocolate.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until the chocolate is set.
- Break the chocolate into pieces and enjoy!
